The LG Dual Cool Air Conditioner was launched on Friday 25th of October at the Sheraton Hotel in Lagos.
With Beverly Naya as the MC, Mr James Lee (LG regional CEO) disclosed that this was the first launch of the dual cool air conditioner outside Korea.
Mr Mohammed Fouani (MD Fouani Nigeria Limited) said the product is beautiful and also stressed that Nigeria is the first to launch it. He also said it is not only an air conditioner but also a smart machine. He then thanked LG, the media and everyone who came to show support.
The product was represented by Olugbenga Olubayo who gave six points about the air conditioner:
- Chandelier look, colour fits with any decor, pillar like stand.
- Dual cooling: Four degrees better than other air conditioners, long distance cooling. Genuine wind control with a wind flow that can cover everywhere. The dual cool has rapid cooling, custom cooling and consistent cooling.
- Smart ThinQ: This app was made by LG for LG. It has a wifi system which allows you to control the air conditioner through a smart phone from anywhere at anytime - Air purification system: Pm 1.0 censor that senses dust and sends a signal to the air conditioner to purify the air. It works 365 days without delay and has an added advantage for asthma patients.
- Dehumidification: The dual cool air conditioner can take away water from the atmosphere with fifty five percent saving over other air conditioner. -
- Auto drying: When the air conditioner is off, the heat exchanger gets wet which can damage the air conditioner. The auto dry system can dry the heat exchanger.
The new LG DUAL COOL air conditioner is a welcome addition to the Nigerian market as it addresses the needs of health conscious individuals and those who want to live the health livestyle.
